You spend thousand of dollars and plenty of your blood, sweat and tears getting all the footage just right... But if your editor doesn't know what he’s doing, what’s the point! When I’m brought onto a project, my first phone call is to Al to make sure he’s available to edit. Al’s work in the edit bay has given back my ability to comfortably say during shooting “We’ll fix it in post”! Al has the ability to creatively handle any kind of show, scripted and unscripted and is my go-to-guy when it comes to post production. He has the mindset of a producer infused with the technical experience of an editor; he also does a mean “Huell Howser” impression! It’s a Producers dream!

I have worked in the video and film production industry since 1976. I have had the opportunity to work with many fine professional editors and directors. I can honestly say there have been none better than Al Moore. Al not only brings to the production amazing technical skill and experience, he has an artistic flair that turns a good production into a great one. He always moves a project to higher level of quality and I am constantly impressed by his insight and talent. It is has been a privilege to work with Al on over 50 productions for clients and distributors such as Concept Media, McGraw/Hill and Star Thrower Productions and I look forward to the opportunity to work with him on my next project.

I worked with Al Moore for 15 years producing educational videos for Concept Media. The subjects varied from technical nursing programs, to psychiatric case studies, to child growth and development videos, to programs for substance abuse facilities.

Al didn't just edit the programs, he learned the content and was able to, with the help of sensitive editing, aesthetic touches, and music, give life to our programs. I've also seen him edit around "challenges" that we encountered in shooting--a needle at an awkward angle or a nurse model with problematic finger nails. Al is the consummate pro. I've seen him behind the camera and directing. To add frosting to the cake, Al is easy to work with and good-natured. He's blessed with an impish sense of humor. I enjoyed working with him. He always made our programs better.

"I am so pleased with the work you did on my video that I wanted to thank you. I've worked with some editors in the past who had good technical skills, but lousy people skills. I've worked with others who had good people skills but poor technical skills. You have exceptional technical skills and even better people skills. It all adds up to a working relationship that is both fun and profitable."
